Observational drawings of buildings using different materials.
The French buildings to the left were created with fineliner and coloured markers. I drew in a more relaxed style influenced by artist Albert Kiefer. This was out of my comfort zone as I really wasn't sure it was going to work, but I actually like the effect and feel it even adds to the history and culture of the buildings.
To the right: A victorian house drawn with fineliner and painted with watercolour. I used more water as I liked the fluid style of the watercolour paint like I used for my painting of a fox and I wanted to experiment with that style with a house. I like it but I would have liked to have added more detail to the stonework of the wall and the brick work of the house.

To the left - a quick observational sketch coloured with markers while holidaying in France.
Below - the same building but done with mark making.

To the left: A digital drawing of a local pub. I felt with digital I could add a lot more detail which made it look realistic, especially when looking at it from a little further away. I wasn't too happy with the road texture, nor the pavement.
Below is a sketch of a house in France on mixed media paper and brown paper.

Perspective Drawings:
Below are two digital perspective drawings for a game project to bring to life the story of H.M.S. Challenger. The first drawing is a digital representation of the lab on H.M.S. Challenger.

To the left: An imagined drawing of the ship's storage room.

To the 2 point perspective drawings using a grid, then without grid, coloured and shaded digitally, then with the character added.
